Safaa Odah is a Palestinian cartoonist living in Gaza. She was awarded our 2026 Kofi Annan Courage in Cartooning Award last May, and the Freedom Cartoonists Foundation — along with its sister organisations Cartoonists Rights and Cartooning for Peace — is working hard to try to get her out of Gaza.
