In the glorious setting of the Palais Eynard, the City of Geneva awarded our President Patrick Chappatte the Medal of Geneva, honoring “the tireless commitment of this passionate defender of freedom of expression and of the press.” The laudatio was delivered by former Swiss president Ruth Dreifuss, following a speech by Geneva’s Mayor, Christina Kitsos. The musical part was provided by Valérie Martinez and Zep.
